PR plays an important role because it helps influencers build trust with their audience and be established as a trusted source. Therefore, when your brand is talked about on their platforms, it could increase brand loyalty and engagement. Thus, influencer PR was born.

With the rapid increase of social media, many brands saw this as an opportunity to show off their products and services by collaborating with influencers.

Sending over PR boxes with products for influencers for them to use and review has a great effect for business, especially if their review was a good one.

Influencer PR is very vital nowadays with the simple fact that everyone, including reporters even, are turning to influencers for the latest trends and news. 

Hence, sending PR to influencers so they can post it on their platforms for their audience that trusts them is a good incentive for your brand. 

 

How to find your target influencer

 

 

The first question you would have to ask yourself is what kind of audience you are trying to reach. Does it align with your brand? What about the brand’s beliefs? What is the message you are trying to convey?

Afterwards, you are going to have to find the right influencer that targets your specific audience.

Especially, if you are going to send that influencer some PR in order to see some growth in your business. 

You are also going to have to look at their engagement rate and see how strong their connection with their followers actually is. You might think you found the perfect influencer to send PR to but turns out their engagement rate is so low.

You need to find ways to prevent your company from losing sales and money from sending PR to the influencer. Not every influencer is the right fit for your brand and vice versa.

Two important things to remember while trying to find your target influencer is to do enough research on them and form a relationship.

There are different types of influencers on social media. A micro influencer are social media users that have a following between 1,000 and 100,000. Micro influencers are able to connect on a deeper and more meaningful level with their audience. 

They are considered to be more trustworthy than those with a higher following. Better yet, their engagement rate is much higher as well.

Their audience trusts their opinions more which comes with the products and/or services that they use daily or are currently loving. 

Working with micro influencers has a better effect and deal for your brand. As mentioned before, they have higher engagement rates, which is perfect if you want your brand to be known.

Micro influencer PR is a great step towards seeing the results that you want to see for your brand.

Not only that, but micro influencers are affordable. The average rate with those of a micro influencer are much lower than with those with a higher following.

Therefore, you can work with many micro influencers to reach multiple audiences than disbursing that money to work with one influencer.

Hence, offering PR to influencers and collaborating with them can give your brand a better chance of succeeding with multiple eyes on you. 

 

The importance of building connections

 

 

Now you find the right influencer that you feel better aligns with your brand and its beliefs. That’s great! That was a step in the right direction.

But now you have to build a connection with that influencer. It is not just about sending PR for influencers and getting them to create a post or video about your brand.

It is about building a connection, building a relationship really, to see future content from them and your brand.

This certain influencer could have jump started your brand. Who knows? If the influencer is the right fit that you want your specific audience to see, engage with and obtain your products and/or services, you should think of building that connection soon.

It can even go to the point where you and this influencer share ideas as to how you want the PR to come across as. Losing the right influencer that fits all the criterias should not even be a thought. 

Influencer PR is very vital to multiple brands with the rise of social media and its impact. Entering the social media and influencer world can be challenging yet exciting. 

Figure out if this influencer PR is the right path for you. 

Find your target audience and influencer and build a connection with them.

Figure out what type of influencers you want to work with.
