women in marketing

Some people are naturally more analytical, while others are more creative.

For women in marketing, it is important to know which type you feel you fall into more and choose the right career path, and find a job that's a good fit for your skills and interests.

It's important to recognize that marketing roles can be quite diverse.

Before we jump right in, here are a few questions to answer to see where you land on the scope of a creative or analytical marketing girly.

Many women in marketing would agree that in some form or another these two roles will cross with one another which is important to keep in mind but this will help guide you when picking a role so you can choose what best fits you.

  1. Do you have the gift of gab?
  2. Do you prefer to work behind the scenes?
  3. Can you bring a story to life?
  4. Are you good with numbers?
  5. Do you love matcha over coffee?
  6. Do you question everything?
  7. Are you known as a social butterfly?
  8. Do you order the same coffee every morning?
  9. Do you like to design/decorate?
  10. Can you identify patterns easily?

If you said yes to more odd numbers than even numbers you're probably a creative girly at heart. Vice Versa if you said yes to more even numbers then you're probably an analytical girly at heart.

Now that doesn’t mean you can't be the other if you genuinely have an interest in the other you might just have to work a little hard.
