This pair of shoes are so universal and can effortlessly add a bit of spice to any outfit.

It is a lot more common for clothing trends to fade faster in comparison to shoe trends. Many different shoe silhouettes are making a comeback this year that some of us didn’t see coming.

We are talking about seeing a lot of Mary Janes, Ballet Flats, Knee High Boots, and especially Kitten Heels this year!

Fast fashion ain’t cute no more. This year, we are staying away from fast fashion and it is about time that we all invest in our timeless wardrobe. Timeless fashion or “classic” fashion refers to designs that consistently stay on trend.

Timeless pieces depend on a few things, a couple being the material in terms of whether it is durable or not, and the shape and/or silhouette. Meaning that cashmere sweater you bought on an impulse that time would actually serve you well throughout the years!

The “vintage” look has been taking over the fashion industry for the last few years, and it doesn’t seem to be going anywhere!

Not only does it promote sustainability and buying pre-loved, you will rarely see anyone else owning certain pieces making it one of a kind.

According to Fashionunited.UK, demand for vintage clothing has skyrocketed during the pandemic. The impact of iconic TV shows like “Sex and the City” and “Gossip Girl” are also one to blame for these trends. It is safe to say that vintage is the new “new”.

Carrie Bradshaw is notoriously known to have the ultimate shoe collection, and she can’t get enough of Manolo Blahnik’s! But who are we to blame?

It’s every girl’s dream to own a pair of Blahniks. What makes them so classic is that timeless pointed-toe silhouette paired with some height to give the illusion of longer legs.

But let’s be real. Not all of us can wear those intimidatingly tall heels like Carrie does, but luckily we are blessed with the existence of kitten heels. Same classic silhouette but with a shorter and far more comfortable heel.

Due to how vintage pieces are getting much more love than current pieces are these days. There has been a noticeable trend of designers taking older designs and renewing it, giving that “vintage charm” to it.

And although these newer pieces are very tempting, we can’t forget that we also have the option of buying pre-loved vintage items that not only are similar, more affordable, but also most likely the inspiration for the new design!

Speaking about pre-loved, has anyone ever sold something of theirs only to find out later on that it’s trending? We can’t tell you the number of times we’ve experienced this but it hurts every time.

Lesson learned though, you should definitely consider a few things before selling your things to avoid feeling regret afterwards.

It is no question that kitten heels have come in and out of trend throughout the years. However, if you really think about it, brands have never stopped carrying them.
